Macquline King is the principal of Courtenay Language Arts center in Chicago. Macquline has successfully merged two different communities into one neighborhood school garnering the Exemplary Supportive Schools Status, the highest school designation the district assigns for growth and achievement. She uses her background in coaching and mentoring to nurture teacher leadership skills within the classroom, among their peers and the greater school community. Macquline has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration and Supervision. King is currently completing her doctorate at NLU in Educational Leadership.
