Lisa Epstein is the principal of Lee Elementary in Chicago. Lisa began her tenure as principal five years ago, in which time she has moved her school from a level 2 to a level 1+ (the highest CPS rating). She has been a proud and enthusiastic leader of the Chicago Public Schools for 25 years – serving in culturally and intellectually diverse neighborhoods. At the district level, Lisa is honored to serve as an Independent School Principal, serving on district level committees and as a Mentor to aspiring Resident Principals. Lisa attended the University of Miami, graduating with a degree in both Psychology and Education. She completed her Master’s degree in Reading at the University of Illinois, and later completed an additional Master’s program in Curriculum and Instruction at Lewis University.
