Stacy Stewart is the principal of the Belmont-Cragin School, located on Chicago’s Northwest side. As a 2-year veteran of the Chicago Public Schools, Stewart has served as a middle school teacher, as an Induction Coach for the New Teacher Center and as an administrator. Belmont-Cragin is recognized for its work as an “Ashoka Changemaker School”. Notably, Stacy’s school was recently awarded an “Exemplary Award” for Social and Emotional Learning from the Chicago Public Schools. Stewart received her B.A. in Business Administration from Tennessee State University, her M.A. in Urban Teaching from Concordia University and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
