Shenethe Parks_7575Shenethe Parks has been principal of the Bret Harte School in Chicago since 2006. As a proud product of Chicago Public Schools, she began her career as a middle school teacher at Ray Elementary and accepted her first leadership role as the assistant principal at Canter Middle School. She leads with the philosophy of keeping the best interest of the child in every decision, building strong community relationships, being transparent, and developing teachers as leaders and parents as teachers. Parks earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education at Chicago State University and her Masters in Educational Administration at Governor’s State University.
