Pamela Wong Lee is the principal of P.S. 162 in Queens. Her school serves a multi-cultural and diverse population of students. Prior to her appointment at P.S. 162, Pamela was the founding principal of The Family School, P.S. 443 for six years. While in the NYC Leadership Academy Aspiring Principals Program, she applied through the new school proposal process to open the school. As an immigrant and a product of the public school system, she envisioned a school in which parents are true partners in education. Pamela earned a B.S. in Human Development at Cornell University, a M.S. for Bilingual & Bicultural Studies at Teachers College, and a M.S. in School Leadership at Baruch College.
