Sereida Rodriguez-Guerra is a 20-year veteran of the New York City school system, serving as principal of P.S. 84 Jose De Diego in Brooklyn since 2010. Rodriguez-Guerra began her carrier serving as a teacher in the Bronx and then went back to her neighborhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to continue teaching. In 2003, she became the Assistant Principal of P.S. 250. Under Sereida’s leadership, P.S. 84 was selected to serve as a host school for the ASD NEST program in partnership with NYU, based on the nurturing environment and positive outcomes within traditional ICT classrooms. Sereida earned her Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Hunter College, Masters in Bilingual Education from City College and Administration from the College of St. Rose.
